Just throwing out another skimmer. I'm not knocking the ones you've chosen, I don't know anything about them, but you asked. :a12: I had great luck with the SRO 1000INT on my 75G tank, total volume was 100 gallons. I know that they are rated pretty accurately, so that size should do it, and price is $319 at Premium Aquatics. This was the third skimmer I have had, and IMO was the easiest to dial in, and was really quiet. They run in very low level, 5 1/2" or so, so you would need to put it on a 3" stand. The next size up is what I'm getting for my new build. The SRO2000, it is also reasonably priced at $409 if you felt the need to move up a size.
Glad to hear that the seller is giving you a full refund.
I will consider both of those options as well. Basically im looking for a good deal on a used one and if I cant find one then ill get a new sca302 for $150. I would much prefer one of the nicer skimmers SRO, SWC but new they are a little steep for our budget so ill keep my eyes peeled for a used one. There is a swc 180 on this forum but its part of a package right now so if it gets parted out I may try to jump on it.
