Bryan's Cadlights Artisan II 70G Mixed Reef

Very nice setup and stock list! Where in the South Loop are you? I used to live at Prairie/Cullerton and Clark/16th.

hey skullv, i live by the Target near the corner of Clark and Polk...there's also the large Showplace Icon movie theater right around the corner from me

Took pics of some new fish I got. I bought a hawaiian flame wrasse pair but the female got bullied and found a small enough gap to jump out of...it's too bad she was so beautiful, her coloration was an incredible red...he's not too shabby either, he's apparently a "mohawk" flame wrasse because he's got some yellow in his fins

Got a Mcosker's this past weekend. I wasn't in the market for another one but I couldn't help it, this guy was too cute. He's even smaller than my helfreichi and the purple lines on him are metallic and glow under blues where it looks like he has lighting bolts passing through him.

This is the only good pic I could get today of my new pintail. He's still a little skiddish and hides whenever I get close to try to take a pic.

I now have 4 wrasse in my tank. I'm waiting for a diamondtail flasher and I'm done with fish. If I can't get a diamontail, I may just settle for a linneatus or golden rhomboid.

Garden of Eden - coloring up nicely...pinks are starting to pop but still a long way to go...one good thing is, Sunset Monti vs Garden of Eden and Garden of Eden wins the battle :)

PC Rainbow and TCK Frostfire stag - my PC Rainbow is colored a little differently than most...i don't have the deep red or that mustard color
View attachment 15420

Pretty in Pink - also a long way to go...my first one died and it took months for it to get the pink polyps...so I expect this one to take months as well

I have no idea what this guy is to the right of the monti setosa...ID anyone?

TCK Goldrush - had him for like half a year and it's barely grown...still waiting for the red polyps as well

I'm sure you've already mentioned this but it's early and I'm to lazy to go looking! What do you spot feed your acros with?

Not really, I only spot feed the corals once a week. The fish get fed daily and I use LRS Nano because it has all sizes of particles. So the corals can grab tiny particles of that when I turn the pumps back on and it gets broadcast. Which they do - sometimes I see them reaching out their mesenterial filaments.

Never tried ReefRoids

no i couldn't that regularly, lol...my nutrient levels would be through the roof! only reason i use so many different kinds is because:

a) i already have them...i've bought foods that last me for a long time so might as well mix them up and use them
b) i don't really know which ones the acros like best or if they even eat any of it at all...i've only seen one video ever of an acropora polyp actually capturing a particle of food...in my tank i've never seen it with my own eyes
c) whatever doesn't get eaten becomes food for other things, crabs, snails, copepods and plus it adds that little bit of NO3/PO4 so i'm not always undetectable and my sticks won't pale out

Crazy colors what the other two in back ground

to the left is the RMF Red Devil Nasuta...guy on the right i have no idea...guy that sold it to me wasn't too sure either - he said it was a "tyree or wwc rainbow prostrata" but i've never been able to find any pics...the hot neon pink on that one is insane though

look how big your Humilis has gotten over the years...it's now gotten a nice deep purple base and neon green tips...the one in the very front is also from you - raspberry lemonade

I'm not sure if this is the piece were even talking about, but I could never find anything on the name you said. The one I got from you perished from my aefw. I got another from hung and now he calls it CRT Lavender.

This is his:
