Cornbred Frag Grow Out

I can post pics tom after I get home from work. Nothing really changed since last pics. I've been feeding almost every day to see if that makes a difference with growth. It's hard to train them to bring out their feeder tentacles with the lights on, but I heard you can. It's also hard to feed in darkness, they sense a little bit of light and all feeder tentacles retract :)

Had that problem for little bit just Prefeed just to get their tentacles out,use like a little rod reef or some Oystereggs they love them and wait till their feeders are out then feed what you normally feed Mysis, pellets so on that way their ain't to much waste since your dropping food on tenticles and not just on top of chalice. Sweet growout on some sweet pieces!

Update 6-29-12

I changed my T5's to 2 Blue Plus, Coral Plus, Purple Plus and chalices look alot better with new lighting. Sorry, I don't have high end camera to take better pics and make the corals look better (cheaper Sony waterproof camera that I just put real close to corals :) ) Pics are with all 4 T5's on:

The colors are insane on these chalices! Sorry, I haven't sent pics for ID to R.Negret. I was waiting to get new T5 bulbs and get better colors so it's easier to I.D. them. will send them for I.D. soon.

I work in Northbrook Nino. I could swing by after work with my DSLR sometime of you would like (I'd love to see them in person). Your pics are doing a prety good job of expressing their awesomeness though.

cool, thanks. I'm pretty crazy until 7/16 but I'll definitely get in touch with you then. They really are looking great!

Nino, thanks for taking all the pics and taking care of these guys. Awesome job. I'm a little jealous that you get to sit down and stare at them whenever you want :). Anybody have an idea of what the one o. The bottom right is? Looks like it has a golden rim as well.

It almost looks like a bigger BPC Flamethrower, but it got more eyes alot faster than the BPC FT on the upper right, which still just has 1 eye (maybe another eye forming). Now that I got better colors and pics, I can email them to Rich N.

Oh my God! Now I see why you guys paid so much for them! All the while I was wondering, but biting my tongue. Now though.... Unbelievable chalices guys, great buy!

3. CB Blue Crush

4. CB Pandora

5. Group shot of all the Chalices :)

6. CB Atomic Bomb or CB Flaming Bugatti (he's not 100% sure which one, he wants me to send another pic once more grown to be sure).
View attachment 4397

7. CB Crazy Clown
View attachment 4398

8. BPC Flamethrower

That Crazy Clown has some really sick colors I think and harder to find than the Rainbow Crush!

I wonder how much grafting is involved with these high end rainbow chalices. Grafting is when you put corals next to each other and hopefully they touch and take on colors from each other. It's risky, because they can end up trying to burn each other, but I've seen some cool grafted corals (mostly SPS).
