UPDATE: At Saturdays CMAS meeting I had a few moments to speak with current VP, upcoming Pres of the club Carl Kmiec, and the short conversation he seemed pretty optimistic about helping me organize this event and work on arranging it as a private tour for the area. I will be speaking with him more soon about this event, so please keep those votes coming, it's already looking pretty good and there isn't even an official date posted yet! As soon as I have a date for this, i will begin working on getting group rates for hotels for the people that want to drive up Friday and and hang out for the evening up north.

Nope, not at all. As a matter of fact once I have more solid info, I will be contact other local clubs as well to see if they want to join in. This is intended as an event for the whole community. I'm just working with Carl because of CMAS good relationship with F&S to make this a better event than I would be able to arrange on my own.

Hmm, MODS!!!!! Please re-open the poll! Not sure why it is closed, im a noob with polls, probably a setting i picked wrong.
 
As some of you are aware I've been completely swamped dealing with our 2nd son since setting up this preliminary poll thread. Divers Den has updated and Feb 23rd is the official tour date. Anyone that is participating, please hop over to their website for the info and email address to reserve a space on the tour. If you are signed up or signing up and need lodging for Friday/Saturday evening, I would be happy to help you find a place in the area. Although I never got to set up anything official, it would still be fun if we could get a big enough group and have a mini-meet the evening before at one of my favorite sports bars up there. Feel free to throw out some suggestions as well if you have anything to add!
