enzo1028's 60 gallon cube build

Looking good. Love the elegance. Mine didn't make it through the crash

Yup! The colors on mine are getting really cool under my Hydra 26. I'm getting a lot of green streaks showing up on the red and blue portions.

You guys? Who's bringing in colony heat?

I'm helping Dave and Mike out at AP right now. I work there a few days a week! Although it feels like I spend more money than I bring in there. Loving it so far and I'm learning a lot

Cool, did y'all take a pic of the colony?!

The one I posted is the only one I've seen. I'm sure they have pictures of the colony. You would have to ask Dave. I just do the grunt work there.

Oh yea then i most of met u im there way to much lol

Just upgrade your gfo and rinse out the macro algae from time to time. I have a 10 gal refugium I rinse out the macro in there to accumulate more critters that fall out. add a extra filter sock with gfo by the end of your protein skimmer. My Sps is doing really well with the same setup as you have and that's what I do when my algae starts catching up with your gfo. Also this means your over feeding a little bit cut down on the frozen foods . Pellets only for a while helps too, don't forget everything in your refugium is feeding your corals without you even knowing it. Oh and scrape the two chambers that have GHA when you clean out your sump but leave the light on you want the algae in your sump. If it is really bad cut the light down in the display tank if anything. Add some more Live rock or dryrock this will help balance your system longer and fan them out from time to time. Everything looks great been a while be ready for your bta corals to take over your tank eventually them will grow really big and block out the light source from other corals lol.

I've been kinda quiet on here since I was working at Aquapros, yesterday was my last day there and it was bittersweet. I had some great times and I learned a ton, but I am happy to have my weekends back and have more time to take care of my tank.

I am closing on a house in a few days and I will be completely redoing my 60g. I got a lot of new equipment and all new rock work.

As of right now I have a ton of acro frags and colonies I picked up at Aquapros. This will be a mixed reef but it will be mostly SPS.

My new house has a perfect workshop room in the basement. I went and picked up a food grade barrel today off Craigslist for $30 and I'm going to have a mixing station as well as coral and fish QT's. I might even set up a frag tank on the workshop. I am moving everything over and I'll post more pictures during/after the move.
