Ok... Well tank is now in the house. I need to get a couple things before I can put water in, but its getting so close. I gave up on building my own stand for 2 reasons 1. I got a killer deal on CL for a stand and canopy. 2. I really had no idea what I was doing lol. But here is where I am at now

PROGRESS made!!!!! WOOOO.
I spent some time figuring out how I wanted to run the plumbing and getting the last of my equipment. I am still waiting for a few minor pieces of plumbing and my new overflow box before I add water. I also am waiting on my wireless mp-10s to get her so I can run all the wiring and really be ready to add the water. Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.

yeah Skimmer!!!

did the skimmer mod to increase production

the begining

Lock line in place

Had to put in the fail safes

had a little OOPS moment and glued in the scrap piece of pvc and not the correct one leaving it way to short, so I had to put this piece in to fix it. Turned out to be a great idea, so I will be adding one to the other side as well.

And together at last. All glued in place. Now I need to get the cap for the drain side and a shorter piece of flex line for the drain.
Off the bottom will be plastic tubing to lower vibration and noise

Now for the fun part. I played around with so many rock scape ideas, and this is what I came up with

My puppy thought I was crazy!!

And for those of you who think a cc-120 isn't bright enough by itself.......:nono (2): it is amazing. But I am still going to run 2 since I have them. :becky: but this gives more of an idea as to the direction I am going.... hope you like. I will post as I move along
Big THANK YOU to FWA and Edsbeaker for the rock and some sand.

Love the rock work Jay... I think you are making a good decision to run two of those fixtures. One fixture provides too much light on the center of the tank and the edges will look dark once their is water in the tank.

Thanks. That what I was afraid of, and why I opted for two.

Jay, when you get that skimmer going, you'll probably need to make a little stand to raise it depending on your water level in the sump. I had to for both of mine. I just used some zip ties and egg crate to built a little stand for it. Works well!

my sump has an adjustable shelf in the skimmer section. :becky: I just need you to come and help tune it once water is in.
