Mark's MMreef complete rebuild

Looks very good Mark. Maybe you can help me with my scape when it's time for me:)

Hi no problem Eddie,I still have about half of the cement I used left, all we need is couple of fiberglass rods.BTW next Sat.morning I'll be home if you want to stop by.

Cool newbie...congrats. I personally thought they nipped at corals.

It all depends on individual fish.I know all worms will be gone,it might nip at some LPS,but that is why I got rid of all my LPS. It is usually 100% safe with SPS.Only concern I have is clams, but I will see how it behaves.

Thanks Mark, I'll shoot you a text Friday night to confirm.

Today I fired up my skimmer with new Bubble Blaster 3000 pump. This pump is a beast.I had to make temporary silencer out of plastic bottle ,because the original silencer was way to loud.I'll make better one out of PWC pipe over the weekend hopefully. This pump pulls some air.Much better than my stock Vertex pump. It needs to brake down for few days but it is pulling some gunk already.Slowly finishing my stand.I need to put black ceramic tile on top and it will be done. Also got my clowns back from a friend who was holding them for me.This Saturday I will get some of my corals back from MCF.Big thanks to BlakeT and the whole staff for helping me with those.

I'm really leaning on getting a regal for my tank, but worried about what he might eat (I have some LPS, but likely would eat the small amount of zoas I have).

I've never seen a silencer before. That's very intersting. Is the bottom of the bottle cut open to allow the air in?

There is always concern with any Angels but I saw this one eat mysis and pellets in store,so I decided to get it.Hopefully it will behave.

The cap is drilled to allow a tight fit with the air hose and the bottom has three holes drilled to allow the air to get through.I put some cotton swabs in the bottle to further reduce noise. It works great. You can make one out of smaller pill bottle,it depends on size of your skimmer and how much air is pulling in.
