A few 180mm Macro Shots
Well I had some time this evening to mess around with my 180mm macro lens. Until I get my 60mm macro back this will have to do for now.
One thing that stood out during this shoot was that LED's are so freaking difficult to photograph under. Next time I'm going to use my 14K fixture I have laying around. I found it much easier to photograph under because it doesn't blow out highlights as much as my fixture.
First shot: a purple and green acan
Second shot: Orange Bam Bams
Third is: Punk Rockers
Fourth is: Incredible Hulk Zoanthids
Fifth is: a miscellaneous palythoa
Sixth is: Australian Zombie Eyes
Seventh is: AOI Blues
Eighth is: Fruit Loops
Ninth is: A new zoanthid frag I picked up from Sho Tank yesterday
and finally, tenth shot is: an Australian Acro Frag
The quality of these pics didn't come out exactly perfect but I just wanted to quickly mess around with the lens and see how the photos came out under these led's.
If anyone know the correct names of the pics, or if I've incorrectly named one, please let me know. I'm trying to create a list of what everything is called for my reference.
