Thanks Mark I have a lot of rock covered in my 500g tank and some are not accessible but covered. At least for smaller pieces I can remove and clean Thanks for your input.
Good or Bad::Few days back I noticed multiple white specs appearing on the glass rocks, when the lights are turning down. Can you please tell me what they could be and if no good for my corals or fish how to eliminate them. Although I do not see them move I think they are some kind of an animal tiny snail or tiny something.
My clown fish just ate one.... Must be baby snails... but so many could be bad if they die ???
Pls give me your opinion
Thanks Nino & Mai.Hard to tell what type they are. Right now they are the size of a pin head. to the naked eye they look like a hardened calcium spot. Magnification done by camera gave them color and some shape. Hoping that fish will eat them I have mostly tangs except for a sifting goby and clowns!! We'll see and thanks for the input
Fragged four pieces of Jedi Mind Trick Monti. Two are one inch long one for $20 second one (sold) with blue ridge $25 Both for $40. Two about three inches with blue ridge. Each for $75 both for $125. Pictures of mother colony and frag. Not VG pictures but best i know how to take. Coral frags are in the SAME SYSTEM as Main Tank. Using same water skimmer etc...Added picture from Internet as my picture does not reflect true color BUT mine has a lot more ridges and is a much more interesting piece.
Bought Four New Fish for my 500G . In QT for observations. Were at LFS for over 3 weeks as per Matt (Matt of Sho-Tank - Designed and is Installing my 500g system) . Matt says, all fish were medicated and eating well. Will observe for few weeks and make sure they are eating OK before putting in the DT. Let me know pls if any of U had a bad experience with any of those fish in a reef. Hope you enjoy this short video and let me know and Thanks for watching
These really open up bigger than shown here. They take a lot of space in a tank. Reproducing nicely. These layers over layers are newly formed EE. Enjoy!
Adding few photos taken by a fellow hobbyist who visited us yesterday Hope you enjoy these postings and Thanks FYI
First is taken of Middle Section closer to the top of the tank just right of center
Second is also middle top just left of center of DT

Just a characteristic of those particular palys. If you don't want to have those overgrow the tank be very careful with them. They are generally regarded as a "weed" coral.
