I've been looking too at many skimmers, I guess at the end came to decision that I really like the ATI brand, they stand behind their product,I also like the digital air flow meter, no more guessing and I will also be able to see decreasing flow, means it is time to clean the pump and venturi.I am also intrigued by its Grid-Wheel Impeller.

reefbuilders is highly complementary of the mesh wheel (and they were very skeptical at first). It's definitley on my list and I am glad to have your choice as an additional confirmation.

More updates !!!

I have saltwater in. I used ESV salt, this thing is great and mixes within minutes. Will run my tank for 24 hrs., will check parameters then. If ok Dr.Tim's goes in and maybe couple of small fish, according to instructions and others that used this product that's the way to do it. Or I might cycle the traditional way.
Also made floating canopy from white acrylics. This light fixture is super bright, I needed something to contain the light spillage. Now I can finally look straight on my tank, wife is happy, everybody wins!!! I think it looks very sharp.

My building table ( wife was not home :) )

I am very impressed with my new skimmer to say at last, this video is taken this morning, less than 18 hrs. in operation. As you know, no livestock at all, clean , dry sand, clean ceramic rock, freshly mixed salt water. Looks like this skimmer can pull stuff out of thin air. I am running it about 1500 lph air draw as recommended by ATI, after two weeks I can go higher up to 3000 lph. I can't imagine what this will do once I put some fish in there.

What cool and clean setup! That skimmer is amazing and I must save up for one. I hope you have some corals in there soon!
