It's gray. I offered to the last person and he offered a bottle of "shine" but he never made it down to pickup. if you can use it, it's yours.

Pax Bellum looks awesome.

Are you going to grow a fetus of Keanu Reeves for the next Matrix trilogy?

Update. I can confidently say the Reef Octopus skimmer will not be staying. The new Skimmer is ordered and should be here in about 4-6 weeks fresh off the boat from Italy.

I had a Diablo XS 160 on my last setup. Worked great but super loud. I've got a vertex omega that I'm moderately happy with. It's dead silent so it's got that going for it. I think my next upgrade will be a bubble King

I sent my Apex FedEx overnight to Neptune. They called me right away and confirmed it was a bad SD card, well no sh*t. Then he said give them a couple days to get the new SD card in and then they will ship it out ground. First, does it really take a couple days to throw in an SD card, I can build an entire water cooled computer in a day, you can't swap out a simple SD card in a day. You would think for the trouble of everything and being loyal to the hobbyist that they would be kind enough to send it back overnight shipping.

I've not heard the greatest things of Neptunes customer service. I'm sure it'll get taken care of, but from what I've read from others I wouldn't expect much from them in terms of going above and beyond.

You're lucky Neptune actually admitted the SD card is defective and somehow not your fault, perhaps keeping the system too close the a fish tank

I have opened 4 cases on 6k worth of gear each case has been challenge after challenge from support with a prove its bad beyond reasonable doubt and we may warrant it, thus far no actual warranty coverage. Sad part is the system is great and pretty reliable WAVs excepted, so I buy spare parts and keep pestering support to fix the defective ones.

It's good to have a product so good you can basically turn off support and still have customers

I did receive a tracking number overnight from them and I do have to give them credit, they atleast shipped it back to me FedEx 2 Day so it will be here by Friday. I'm surprised they didn't ship it FedEx 2 week after I called their product an $800 paperweight.

Apex with replaced SD card arrived today. Powered it up and none of the outlets worked, they were all locked up, led status Neptune symbol was not working on the probe/connectivity module. I was ready to fly to Cali but luckily a level headed unnamed friend, who deserves all good things that come to him came to my rescue and put me in contact with someone direct at Neptune. They had to remote access and fix the locked up outlets. The status led they offered to send me a new module or I could open it up and plug in the led power they failed to connect when they replaced the SD card. I took the second option and they guaranteed me that it would not void my warranty. Problem solved. Again, thank you my friend for keeping me calm, level headed, and going above and beyond as you always do.
