Rich's SF Build

omg the nem split!!! if u ever to decide to sell them, I WANT...

Beautiful blennys by the way :)

What's crazy is that is instantaneously changed color during the split. It used to all look like the bottom right part. I'm guessing it will change back soon

The dust has settled and I have 3 healthy Sunburst Nems. Please no more PMs. I'm not selling them. If I do I will post them in the FS thread.

The Darwin Shroom - I don't know how to describe how awesome this shroom is in person. The green is lime grean and that streak is forrest green. I couldn't capture it perfect on the camera.

Actinics:

Whites:

These acans are freaking hot. bright neon pink with a crazy bright yellow ring.

And finally a comparison shot of watermelons -
From right to left we have
WWC Sunrise ----- JF My Miami ----- JF Crazy Fox

Are you getting some or any of your pieces from LFS's in the area? If so, how would compare the selection to that in the Midwest?

Most of the zoas I'm getting from a LFS. The other stuff from locals out here that either know someone or order online.

When comparing the Bay Area's LFS to those in the Midwest you have to think about proximity to the wholesalers in LA and orange county. I think all of the LFS owners out here are able to go directly to the wholesalers' warehouses and cherry pick what they want. That just can't happen in the midwest or atleast not on a monthly basis. Since the Bay Area LFS have been doing this for years, some of the nicer stuff that comes out tends to become more common and widespread much faster than it does in the Chicago area.

That being said, one thing that really surprised me when moving out here was that there were not a lot of reefers in or around SF. I figured with all of the big money out here there would be some crazy tanks. I'm sure there are a few hidden, but I haven't seen any on the local boards.

Eventually I'll make the move into a more mixed reef. The zoas and shrooms that have been coming in lately are just too hard to resist.

With that being said. Time for an update.

The XTC Shroom. This thing is truly insane in pattern and color. Baby blue is killer on any coral

WWC Twizzlers

WWC Pink Kraks (not mine, just holding for a friend)

Yellow/Pink Acans - I didn't like acans much until these.

PZ Vampire PE - Still one of my favorites and I finally am getting the white ring back which makes these things better than the rest

PZ Grafted Shroom - Not as bright orange as the jawbreaker but that green part is neon green. The color also transfers to the babies which is cool

And last but not least my favorite chalice which grows way too slow. Just keeps getting better

WWC Sunrise

Break down and I'll take the burden of holding stuff for you...my tank is in the building, so it's almost time for a richiet care pkg ;)
