Can't wait to see this thing take shape again!

Thanks. The 18 frags I got today at BC are a good start. I spent an hour and a half there and his corals are absolutely amazing. It was really cool just hanging out, checking out his systems, and talking shop. He is pulling of some absolutely beautiful colors with LEDs. He has some truly yellow acros. Super nice dude. I'll be ordering from him again for sure.

It took me quite a while tonight to dip and mount all of my new corals. Now that a have a nice start, I'll be cherry picking some more acros over the next few months. I still have a lot of real estate to cover. I'll post some pics and a list of the new stuff tomorrow.

I know Adam has extensive QT Process for acros going in his system. You shouldnt need to dip stuff from him.
What kind of LEDs does he use? Is he all LED or still use halides?

Yeah he walked me through his whole process. Very thorough.

Reefbreeder/Evergrow LEDs. He has halides over some tanks and even some T5. Probably 50% led. It was interesting. I asked him what got better color, so we moved the same coral (glowstick acro), one from his led tank and another from the halide tank, and looked at them side by side under leds. The one from the led tank was much brighter yellow. He's also dosing nitrates in one of his tanks and getting great results from it.

Here we go. I bought a frag pack from BC that was titled "chunky frags" or something like that, so some of these are much bigger than a typical frag. I also added on a bunch of pieces I selected. Then Adam being the generous guy that he is, gave me a bunch of freebies.

This is Gary's Yellow (not affiliated with my triggerfish named Gary). It's basically a slimer structure, but a nice yellow color:

Huge frag of Shades of Fall. I'm sure it will color up more.

Huge frag of Tyree Blue Matrix. I really beat it up when attaching it to my rock. I'm sure it will come around.

Huge frag of Indigo Tip Stag

Blueberry Field Austera. Don't know much about it, but I'm sure it will color up.

Therman's Rainbow. This thing was gorgeous at BC, and I'm excited for this little frag to grow.

PC Rainbow. I had to replace this one because I love it. Sorry about the over saturation. You know what it looks like.

BC Xmas Acro. This thing is absolutely beautiful. I thought it was a show stopper in Adam's tanks, and that's hard to do.

Big frag of Copp's Hulk Millie. Don't really know much about this one

And the rest:

BC Glowstick. This thing is the yellowest acro I've ever seen. I hope it retains it's color in my tank, because it is a crazy.

SunnyX Sunset. SunnyX is the dude that owns Pro Corals. This coral has apparently been around for years.

BC Rosaria Rainbow.

Blood Red Millie. I think this is supposed to be red, but it was fluorescent pink in Adam's tanks. I had to have it.
