she is only sticking her but out of the tube, she is defenseless with her shell so soft. but her but was looking good :flirt: def try and get some pics of her tomorrow if she wants to come out, but im going to leave her be for the rest of the night :p

Best to let her rest u dnt want her Togo all out beast mode on u lol
 
agreed, I'm just very excited about it. I went from rock bottom this morning thinking she was dead, to over the moon about seeing her after the molt! :dance:
 
They felt like it would do some damage too! The two clubs probably weighed more than the rest of her body. I kind of wanted to keep the molt, but didn't really know how to preserve it so I got rid of it, maybe next time ill keep her hammers.
 
That is excellent news!!! I'm so happy for her!

Looking at that molt you can really see the shell rot! :( that would've been so scary! I hope she feels much better now! And you definitely need to find a good way to preserve those molts, lol! I think you can just air dry them...? maybe not, lol... Best to look it up.
 
She is still very skittish, but ill try and get a pic for you guys a.s.a.p. We'll see how the shell looks when it hardens, but it looked like there were a few small spots of shell rot. May just have been the shell looking weird tho. I will try air drying the next one, just didn't want it to start stinking, or critters to get it if left outside.
 
Couple horribly out of focus shots showing her in the tube. When she starts to come closer to the entrance I'll get a less angled through the glass shot so its in focus.



 
Post-Molt Update!!!

I'm going to toss a clam in tomorrow see if she is hungry. Been an intense couple days.









You can see her shell still isn't perfect. But a step in the right direction! :a15:

Thanks! :a45: Cant stop taking pictures of her eyes. Definitely my new desktop background! Her hammers were still weak, I think she was trying to smack it, but I didn't hear anything.
 
:a15: Thanks! Today was a practice run, tomorrow there will be a new video :spy: I wish there wasn't a foosball table right in front of the tank, can't get a good straight forward shot.
