SkullV's Aquarium Adventures

+1. Thanks for all the help Ted. And good luck and congrats in AZ. R u keeping this same setup or setting up a different one?

This setup for probably the next 6-12 months, really just gong to be a holding tank for my rock, nems, and clownfish. Once we move to South Tempe I'll start putting together my 8'+ FOWLR.

Hope to see you some day again bud. It was great knowing ya. Best wishes. Hit me up if you come back to chicago. GL with the move.

Ted thanks for all your help and the Nuclear Green Implosions. One palyp is now a good 30 on 2 separate side of my tank now.. ;)

Thanks everyone, I'm still around via text or PM. Last of the stuff is being picked up this week. I'm going to grab a new 20g and drill it for the overflow in the back instead of side as well. Once it's all up I'll post a new pic to close this thread up.

Well here it is. Everything made it across the country alive other than my favorite gorgonian from rockhead. If anyone has a large piece of his gorgonian I would be happy to pay for it plus shipping!

Not much to look at right now, but there are a couple really nice LFS out here and a pretty large reef community as well.

Looks great. Now fill it up with corals! Man I should of got a piece of that gsp again.

Thanks Jaime. Gary has plenty of that particular GSP so you might PM him if you really want it.

Great! That is the best gsp I have ever seen. Plus it will add more movement in my tank. I'll pm him in a bit. So what new fish are u thinking about getting for the tank?

Of course the best thing about moving out of the city....a garage!

Salt tank, the valves either mix the bucket or pump it out:

I wanted to send a big thank you to Ben at AACorals. For some reason the nice Euphyllia prices out here are CRAZY and it's all I really wanted to fill my tank. I send a text to Ben about shipping me some coral and within 3 days of giving him my budget and "wish list" 7 Euphyllia frags and an amazing looking rainbow BTA were at my door. All of the stuff was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition in the 108* Arizona heat.

All of the coral Ben had shipped to me came in 100% pest free (not a single thing in the dip bucket) and in excellent health which is more than I can say for one of the local stores. I purchased a mixed Zoa colony at one of the local stores and got all of this in one dip:
