The very start of a 75 gallon build

I am not going to take credit for the aquascape. It's 90% Crystal's vision vuciouswife. My 10% contribution is the dead coral that everyone hates =(.

HA! I think the coral skeleton could be cool looking with zoas or palys. I like that it gives a different texture and seems easy to plop little things in between the bumps and grooves.

Finally some love for my 10% of the contribution. =)

Tank finished cycling after about 10 days with Dr. Tim's. Moved the pair of clowns from the 29.

Good move on ditching the dead stag skeleton. That SPS piece will look way better there than dead coral when it grows out.

How's the tank coming along?

Tank was doing ok. I have very high phosphate so I have been battling some algae issues.

Then I went on vacation for 7 days and had my brother in law watch the tank. However, I think he may have waited too long to refill the ATO tank so the sensor went into failsafe mode which means it will not start the pump until the sensor is reset. So even though he refilled the ATO tank, the pumps never went back on. When I came back, the salinity was super high and return pump was sucking air.

Some of the zoas looked bleached, anemone about to die, and algae everywhere. Fortunately, all the fish survived and chalices look okay. I'm trying to save this nem.

All the params are back to normal and nem looking a little better. No death from the automation fail so far.

Picked up two coral plates at the Expo. The tank is finally back to normal now and things are happy again. Phew!
