Your poor wife...
The only time I have every been irritated is when I had someone come over to buy coral and he brought his wife, kid and their dog. That would have been nice to have a heads up. His kid and dog were running around my house while I am showing him my tank.
Every other time, I don't care if a person brings their wife, girlfriend or child in with them. And every person I have dealt with usually asks if they should take their shoes off.
I do agree that sellers should always have a bag or container if you are selling. I always make sure I have plenty of both.

What is it with people these days just thinking it's OK to bring their shedding dogs with them everywhere? When did that become OK? Sorry, this is a personal issue of mine. I like dogs, but I don't want to clean my house after you visit because there's dog hair all over the floor where my baby is crawling. Don't act offended if I ask you to leave your animal outside if I didn't know you were bringing it, I don't think that's a shocking request.

Lies! You wouldn't have had to warn him.
Kalvin peed on somebody's bed once... but in his defense, there was leftovers from some wild lovemaking in there & he was just marking that territory as his domain.
There is no defense for your dog jumping onto someone else's bed and peeing on it lovemaking or not.... LOL
I've met with a bunch of people on here and never had an issue with any of them, that being said there's no need to have your animals running around other peoples homes, especially un-announced. If someone ever came to my place their dog would be outside. If I wanted a dog in my house I'd have one already.....
