Base of sps Turning white

Amazon has them for $47 might but alk and calc. Cut up my expensive frags that i cared about. I'm going to levee all the white dead sps in the tank. Maybe some will come back

Joe.. don't buy calcium checker.. it's a piece of junk.. you can have mine if you if you really want one.. but it's useless

if you have red bugs in your tank already you cant just dip, you will need to dip and qt, if you dip and place back in tank you will re infect the coral.

I read that also. But u have to pull all acros out. Which doesn't bother be but since they all dieting anyways might as well try interceptor. Vet said they should have some next week. All acros after this getting Bayer dipped

Really get me some i like to have just in case you never know when u get the bug

I read mixed reviews on the intercepter, which is expensive and sometimes hard to get. Rather than wait until to see if i can get it. Im trying bayer in the mean time. I dipped two acros already and have hundreds of dead bugs floating in the dip solution. They literally fall off as soon as its soaked.

My reason for doing this is so that the coral polyps will start to extend again so they can feed. Ive been adding Fuara marin S for supplement support.

I'll take it just so i can compare it to my red sea lol
I wouldn't say it's a piece of crap, it just has a lot of steps and can be very finicky if you don't follow the directions 100% and add the exact amounts of liquid. I still like mine, gives me as accurate of results that i need. You can borrow mine to test your water if you want, i live pretty close. I'm pretty sure that your ALK might be off, that's happened to a few of my frags awhile back, ALK was too low and they started to whiten from the bottom to the top and eventually die. GL though Joe!

Thanks Garret i might take u up on that. Just for the record ace has the correct Bayer currently for sale in this weeks ad. $9.99

According to my test kit.

Calc 325
Alk 11.9

Pretty sure my alk used to be 9. Is it possible kalk can't keep up with corals but alk continues to rise?

if kalkwasser cant keep up you would get an alk drop not a spike, its possible with the weather change you are getting more evap if you are using it in an ATO

I am using it in the ato. My question was if calc can drop faster then alk and that's why alk is so high and calc is so low.

I've always had red sea but i don't like the color changing test kitslol some times i see blue as purple
