BRS Pukani leaching Phosphates

Stay away from the Fuel unless you have a very low nutrient system, that's what I heard from a manufactor's rep.
Hopefully this doesn't take too long to run its course!!

You also might want to look into a better GFO, like RowaPhos.

Walt, I have an air pump, tubing, and maybe an air stone tat you can HAVE if you feel like making a drive. :D

A few weeks ago and I'll be around here for another 5 weeks or so. I'm working Sat and Sun morning but I could probably drop them off at your place on my way home. It'll be around 215pm or so. Does that work?

I turn my skimmer off for 24 hours after feeding the tank. Sometimes I forget to plug it in for days... Don't you have powerheads in there?

That works! Let's do Sunday. God and I will be resting that day.

I like the meatball appetizer on Tuesdays; wish they served that as a an entree. I'll try the carne asada next time.
Sorry for hijacking your thread Walt. :)

I love that appetizer too!

No worries.

I came home and the cyano has not gotten any worse but it's still there. The extra GFO is helping and I can tell because there was absolutely no algae on the glass today. I harvested chaeto and chopped up the remaining to stimulate end-to-end growth and we'll see how this goes. I won't drop in chemiclean for another week. The cyano doesn't grow on anything other than my rock and my frag rack. I'll do a water change this weekend.

I put about 40 pounds of pukani (after curing it for over a month) in my tank, no wonder I had a huge hair algae outbreak later on...ugh
