chicago reefs cookout?????????

waht date should the cookout be?

Busse is a good cruize for me even farther for our Indiana folk.

If need be the gf offered up the backyard for a little bash.

There is enough room for for volleyball "if some1 brings a net"

beanbags and horseshoes I could borrow my neighbors grill

so to have 2 nice size grills and its fenced in and a beer

though to hold many many cases of your favorite brew

BYOB that is but I guess I could supply some ice lol and if its

on a Saturday night when there is a baseball game there will

be fireworks which would be the 4th and 11th of August the

last Saturday home games of the season it looks like.

I think I have a badminton net that could be used for a volleyball net or even a badminton game :)
And crestwood is close for me!

it is far skunker now that i think about it. theres a small park on 31st and wolf rd. called bernis woods which would be more centralized right by brookfield zoo.
 
Its funny they have been there since 1999 and I haven't been to one game but I get a good fireworks

show from my back yard every Saturday home game since they have been there.
 
I don't think anyone is going to be interested in doing this

We should have a poll. Who wants to do it where? With a chosen location, someone might step up and make further arrangements. Until then, this post will just be a run-on.

Yeah good idea now we need a few options for location we can count busse woods, skunkerx house, anyone else? Maybe an lfs?

What's considered far? I drove around an hr to mcf before they closed. I've driven an hour and 15 minutes south of me to another reefers house. If its at a store wouldn't reefers be interested in making a little longer drive with the chance of winning a drawing or even if knowing that store would have a nice shipment in and be able to get nice looking new items at a good price? I think we have all at one point made a longer drive for something or another in this hobby
 
few of us from nwi made the drive, lunacris drove thanks man, and we had a good time and enjoyed the day. those who didnt wanna make that drive missed out.
but as far as this cookout goes, is there a lead person on this site that can take charge of this idea and try setting it up? i vote at a lfs or even someones house that is near a lfs to make a quick trip there then back for games and stuff
