FishBeard's 180g Wall'o'Tank!

looking at your recent fts, you did the same thing as me, but it looks a whole lot better. start with islands, then connect them with arches
 
Yea, much better than the huge wall of rocks look, and lots of places for all the fish to swim around and have fun. I really hate that pic, its horrendous and I really think it makes the tank look much worse than it really does in person.

I have them offset front to back by about 4-6" so the flow wouldn't just crash in the middle. The way I have them set I get a good swirl of flow at the middle of the tank where the water turns down and undertows back to the pumps.

I don't need the heavy random crash of flow. The euphyllia corals in the tank don't appreciate it. I think I'm between 40-50% anyways and on lagoon mode 100% of the time except once a week I run nutrient export at full blast for a couple hours.
