I only have a little time today (and I'm still in the sitting and staring phase a little), but if my evil plans come to fruition I will have all day tomorrow if you are available for bears beer and plumbing.

Lol I already duct taped 6' to my basement column and hit it with a blowtorch with no immediate effect. Hopefully leaving it like that last night will help.:D

funny thing about that, I forgot to fully tighten/tape 2 threaded connections, so those drip. I also realized that I have the hose clamp screw oriented in a way so that I have to completely drain the whole thing to drag is away from the wall to fix it. Everything else is accessible (unions and **** offs) without moving the tank if just that one screw faced the other way. Oh well. Good to notice design flaws now I guess.
 
Leak test two is perfect. Drain is pretty loud and I'm definitely going to need an auto because my return has only a half inch over it. A little more tweaking and some lights will make me ready for the switch.
