Joe's Community build 75g build thread

Joe, good job on the comeback! They are coloring up really nicely, more so in person I'm sure!

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna get my test my water with new test kits and i have a feeling i won't need to do anything other then weekly water changes. If that's the case I'm just gonna keep it simple and let the tank do its thing.

Just thought id mention those frags of sps i recently posted were dipped in Bayer insecticide. I read up on it and will be dipping all future sps in it. I'll update if i have any fatalities.

It's been 4 days and i guess my worries are over. The kole and chocolate dont even seen to notice each other. The chocolate tang is probably double the size of my kole.

I also picked up a Salifert Calcium test kit from Advanced today. The numbers seem more believable.

My tank water calcium was 360 and fresh mixed salinty at 1.025 was 390. Guess it's time to buy a hanna checker for alk and get all my real numbers.

U guys probably wont be as excited as me but after months and months of brown sticks in my tank. Everything is finally starting to color up.

I'd post pictures but phones a POS and u wouldn't be able to tell anyways lol.

Hopefully after i pick them up they stay that way lol. My Shortcake is starting to color up awesome. I'll have to compare it to ur shortcake/limeaid lol

Something seems a little fishy to me, and I love that! Awesome and healthy lookin' fish, Joe. Keep it up! :D

I have 8 fish in there currently. I think i may add a Female ornate to go with my male and be done adding fish.

After i added the chocolate it seems like the tank is much more active now
