My "Tanked" Tank

Awesome, I'm glad to see you decided to keep the tank despite the difficulties! I can't wait to see this thing filled!
 
I got two of these lights with it with the super heavy, hot ballasts. Can you guystell me what kind of light this is? Metal Halide? I thought it was just a plain light but I plugged it in, of course I hurt my eyes looking into it, and it looks like it's for reef.

The 'what it will look like" picture is just some sloppy photoshop work. I am looking at whitestone wood paneling to go around frame, kinda give it a rocky shore look to it.

And I hope MCF will help with the filling!! Indo-Pacific is what I'm looking at.
 
The light looks like some kind of metal halide especailly if it has a ballast. Can you get a picture of the bulb or tell us if there is anything written on it?

I grabbed two guys across the alley building a fence (should have told them $25 each instead of $50) and this project is a go...

haha. AWESOME! I but your other neighbors were looking out the window thinking you're crazy! Is it staying in front of the windows?
 
yes it is staying in front of windows. i painted back and will also affix cardboard to back of glass for insulation. Handyman did not tell me i could have bought a tinted window.
