Sawdonkey's 220 Thread

Man you are having great results with those lights. God I am so confused on whether to switch over to t5 or continue with the LED's and just add one more fixture.:banghead::banghead::banghead: Whatever your doing is spot on.

Yeah, I have no real complaints with them. I do have four fixtures so my coverage is really good. I actually recently bought another to mount over my "frag sump". I sometimes think that the intense light is the cause of my less that great PE. I have the one over my sump turned down, and the frags in my sump have great PE. That's the reason I'm going to makes some diode swaps this weekend.

Wow! I haven't been on for awhile and your tank looks like its maturing and becoming even more amazing. (I'm the guy with the little kid + bottles of wine).

Couple of weekend shots. Gotta take all of my lights apart today and install some new fans and swap out a few diodes. Going to be a fairly big project.

Pics:

SunnyX Sunset - very little PE in this pic, but usually has decent PE:

Well, if I cut a piece for you, it would surely be brown. This thing is crazy hard to color up. If you say a curse word in the same room as your tank, it turns brown.

Don't know, but each time I've acquired a frag, it was brown for more than six months. You really need patience for this one, but it pays off.

I've got two of four of my light fixture repaired/ adjusted, but I'm sick of soldering/screwing tiny screws. One or two more hours of work left.

And we're vented!

Nice work! I've been using those AC infinity fan grills for a while now but usually replace the fans. They are just too noisy for me!

Hmmm, it seems pretty quiet to me, even on high. Although, my tank makes a little noise, so a little more doesn't matter.

Yeah, I still haven't cleaned up the carpet, but I'd rather have a little sawdust in the carpet than a scratched canopy. That's my project room anyway.

It is always both.

That's a nice rack! And no I'm not hitting on you. What are the dimensions and where did you get it/have it made?

I'm flattered! It is 11 x16 I believe. Got it from advanced acrylics for $50. They took a long time getting it to me, and when it arrived, all of the legs were broken off, but I just super glued them back on and all is good.
