Love it! Gunner what camera do you use?

Thanks guys.

Ted, I use a LUMIX GF3. It's a micro 4:3. I have 50-150 zoom and a 14 wide angle lens. I use extension tubes or magnifying lenses for macros. I really struggle with full tank shots.

This SunnyX Sunset has been a bit of a slow grower but I really like how it's shaping up.

Got this one from UltimateMJ. Not much to look at yet, but those little specs of color in the coralites give me hope. This is probably going to be the next WD. Get in line now!

I haven't got my camera out for about a month and tonight when I went to turn down the blues and turn up the whites for better pics, I realized my whites and blues both, have been at 95% for a month. I forget to turn the whites back down after my last photo session. I thought my corals were looking paler than usual, but nothing seemed too pissed and nothing died. I've now turned the whites down to 60%.

Here's some FTS and a couple of nealry-FTS:

Beautiful tank. Ever have any trouble with the Angel picking?

Thank you, yes I have trouble with the emperor. Almost every day I come home to a few acro tips with a string of slime coming from it and the tip clipped off. Many of my corals have missing tips here and there. Although my acros are now getting big enough to spread the pain over many colonies, so he isn't as detrimental to any one coral. He loves to have Blue Matrix for lunch though. I've been feeding the fish in the morning before work and that seems to help a little.

In the end, I really like him, my corals are doing fine, so he stays. I'm not one of those people that buy and sell fish regularly. I've had most of my fish between 7-13 years.

Tank looks awesome...small cuc I take it with those triggers

You'd be surprised. In don't have any snails, except those colonista ones. However, I have blue leg hermits that have lasted a long time. I find an empty shell now and then, but not often. I just replenish with about 20 new crabs every couple of years. I also have a conch that turns up with a missing eyeball now and then. However he grows them back, so that is cool to see. All in all, the fish don't pay much attention to either.

as an added bonus your acros grow faster after having their tips trimmed on occasion...i think it's a win/win unless the angel is taking too much off the top

If like to think so, but I thing what it really does is make my colonies grow really tight instead of branch out. Every time a branch takes off, it gets clipped and then splits into multiple beaches, leading to a really dense colony.
