Looking good man!! Can you do close ups of your fixture? Trying to get some ideas and how the fixture is hanging

Sure thing, I have to finish it up tomorrow evening (run the wire through the conduit for the moonlight) and then I'll snap some shots. I actually think it came out clean enough to leave it with no canopy.

Still need to get a plug for the front of the conduit just for my own OCD sanity but here it is. My iPhone has been taking pretty blurry pics lately so if you want a clearer shot of anything let me know:

Very nice...make me want small SPS tank...

Thanks Mai! Also added the CPR Nanotumbler today with a 50% dose of the NPX bioplastics. I'll add the other half in a month and continue dosing the Reef Biofuel until then. I'm also going to keep using MicroBacter7 with the pellets.

Also watch out for the CPR stock pump, it's easy to get log real quick.

Maybe eventually. I actually kind of like the raw metal look but now that the tank is done basically equipment and stock wise i'm sure I'll get bored and have to do something to keep my hands out of the tank.

Got some new additions from the local Memorial Day sales.

First in the SpecV added two nice ORA Deresa clams from Aquapros. They look better with the blue lights turned off but hopefully will color up under the spectrum I have. This pic is with all the lights on:

Second in the clown tank I added a nice short tentacle plate from New Fish. It's purple with a nice orange rim under all actinic but the Orange rim doesnt show that well under my Par38. Changing the two white chips from Neutral white to Cool White next week so we'll see how that looks:

Jeff came over today to help him with a project so I asked him to bring his testers since I never ever test my water. Just top off with fully saturated kalk water, and carbon dosing with a 2-5g water change every month-ish seems to get the trick done.

Finally tested today and was happy to see that it's all working like I thought it was:

Cal = 483ppm

Alk = 9.63 dKH

Seems like the nems are finally happy and really opened up. I wish the clowns would dive in during the day instead of JUST at night, but I guess I'll take what I can get. My thought is that they have absolutely nothing threatening them in this tank so they have no reason to stay in the nem and they sleep there at night for protection. I'm also a little surprised at how weak the spread from the Par38 is. Works perfectly for this aquascape, but I wouldn't even consider using it over the full 7.5g cube.

Also got a new coral in the SpecV. It's an Atlantis Aquariums (ATL) Cherry Bomb Acro. The polyps are crazy red on this thing. I'm hoping under the LEDs way high up the skin will turn more red as well:

Lastly, just a neat growth shot on the UWW Rainbow Sunburst Monti and Tyree Lime in the Sky from 4/8/14 to 6/4/14

Now I just need to wait until the rest of this algae dies off from whatever this rock was leaching, and watch things grow!
