SkullV's Office Ecoxotic EcoPico Build

Moved some stuff around, finally shaping up! The Duncans and toadstool are pretty upset because of the move, but they are starting to open up again as I type this. Impossible to get the lights to look right with an iphone though. Once the rest of the lights come on Thursday I'll bring the DSLR.

Got the rest of the lighting today. Looks WAY brighter. I was kind of worried about the overhang of the 2 extra EcoPico strips but it is almost unnoticeable. Coral is all upset with me for changing the lights and messing around in the tank but here it goes. Hopefully I can get a photo with everything open and looking good tomorrow when I come in. Also going to get some PAR readings. I'm hoping to be able to keep a Maxima Clam on the bottom (on top of a 1" high rock). Shouldn't be a problem with 15w of high quality LEDs on a 12" deep tank:

That's funny! How small is that little clown?!?!

About 1", but he went to the great toilet bowl in the sky. Died of Brooklynella unfortunately, first fish in a REALLY long time that I let bypass QT. Figured it looked healthy and was going to be the only fish in the tank. The LFS that I got him at replaced him for me today though with a clown out of a different system even though I'm sure it was an isolated incident.

Pics of the new guy coming soon.

Did you cycle the tank?

There is nothing to cycle when EVERYTHING comes out of an established tank and is transported underwater for 10 minutes, I also know what Brooklynella looks like. I also tested the water, 0, 0, 0. Thanks for the insinuation though.

Wow. Just trying to help. Didnt mean to "insinuate" anything.:tape2:

Took a gamble on ordering this pico HOB filter. Didn't think it would fit without having to modify the filter or the light mount. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm glad I found one as they are now discontinued. Thank goodness for online stores that order too much stock! It was only $10 too!
