SkullV's Office Ecoxotic EcoPico Build

No sump on the tank. The live rock and HOB filter are more then enough filtration and the weekly 20% water change takes care of nutrient export.

Wow, pretty tank! If you're looking for another small fish, I picked up a yellow clown goby at MCF a while back, one of those would look pretty cool in there. They have great little personalities too. They had a bunch there when I got mine...

hey ted,
do you have a lid on the tank? Will that firefish jump out?

Yes there is a lid, but the opening at the back is a little large for my liking with the firefish (pair as of tomorrow), and it doesn't properly fit with the new HOB filter. I'm having a piece of glass custom cut to have a 1/8" opening all around.

Thanks for the heads up. I have always loved the clown gobies, but I decided I liked the firefish so much that I'm going to pair it up!

Happy Coral wanted to wait a bit to ship the GBTA I ordered from them because of a Pedal Laceration (awesome customer service, really cares about their product!). While I was waiting for it to ship I couldn't help myself so I added these to the cart for the Pico:

A couple Zoa frags:

and since I'm doing the Live Aquaria buy I bought this nice duo colony of "Emerald Forest" and "Wham'n Watermelon" (lol) zoas. I plan to frag off all of the Watermelons and make a frag of the Green ones for the Pico and sell the rest of the colony:

Added the 2nd firefish today. A little nipping but no serious aggression. Looking like they will pair up just fine!

Shoot me a pm with what you are thinking as far as the live aquaria zoa's go, those are really nice looking and I would be interested especially if you are cutting the colony into a few pieces or its not overly large.
