When going to a seller's home...

Seller need to provide bag especially if your selling an expensive coral or just corals in general. Also you have to be mindful that this buyer is coming an hour away or maybe more just to stop in your place for 10 to 15 mins or maybe an hour or so if chat time allow it too... Sometimes Buyers can't remember everything before leaving so it should be on the seller to remind the buyer to bring a bag/buckets or whatever it is your buying if you cannot (The Seller) provide the bags for your corals. Also when the buyer arrives to be mindful of the seller's wishes as they enter in a home if shoes need to be taken off or only a number of people can enter your home at a time. Seller's need to be more discrete on what the buyer should do to have a smooth successfull transaction, not everyone is the same and people aren't alway going to have the perfect experiences of others. JMO

I've been on both ends selling and buying and if I am asked to take off my shoes I do it if I am asked not to come up in someone's home for reasons being the seller I don't, if a home is not kid friendly then it's up the the seller to let that person know so they aren't just bargining in and making a mess of things. Knowing these little things go along way.

I usually supply my own bags, but I do bring ziplocs with me in my cooler. There have been times i forgot I was running low on the bags and ended up using my tupperware for corals I sold....and I am sure it can happen to anyone.

It work both ways too... I know I forget sometimes to tell a buyer to bring a bag and I didn't even have any at the time, so I ended up using one of my buckets or something and just let them take it or like you stated Walt a Tupperware... We are all not perfect so sometimes things just happen you can't prevent it.

Me I didn't mind people coming in my house with shoes on, especially if I really don't want shoes on my carpet when people walk in, but i'm not going to make somene take off there shoes for 5-10 mins in order for them to put them right back on again. I think the only time my wishes are to really take your shoes off in my place if it's raining or snowing out, other than that we have a healthy happy and working Mop bucket that does a fantasic job of cleaning... :)

I wish folks would ask if the should remove their shoes. I'm Asian and shoes in the home are disrespectful. Also, I don't wear my shoes in my house because it's disgusting what is tracked into teh house with shoes. I hate when people assume they can just walk through my estate without offering to take their shoes off.

If I see a pile of shoes at a door, I take off my shoes even if the host says I don't have to. It's a sign or respect and just sanitary.

Exactly Walt. The preggo and I seen a pile of shoes at madjoe's and just took ours off. Never questioned if he has a foot fetish...

I agree with the removal of shoes policy. How many times has it been dark out, you get into your car, start driving, and you begin to smell something. You then check the bottom of your shoes and what do you know, dog chit.

Reminds me of this pile of crap I used to find on my front lawn every morning. One morning after seeing this for two weeks straight, I sat in my car for about an hour and waited. Sure enough, here comes some dude walking a giant sheep dog. Never seen it before and it drops a deuce on my lawn and the guy kept on walking. I calmly put on my latex glove, picked up the turd, caught up to the guy and said "excuse me sir", then threw the turd in his face and said next time he doesn't clean up after his dog I would make him eat the next one lol! Never happened again haha!

Always ask if you should remove your shoes, if you see a pile of shoes just take yours off. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you need to take your shoes off. Also if you're bringing someone, ask first, or leave them in the car. You can't leave kids in the car of course, but if you have little ones, ask first, if its cool keep them under control. I can't tell you how many times relatives bring their kids over and let them run wild. Even though they're family, it pisses me off. Every time I say something I get the "what do you want me to do, they're kids". I've noticed a pattern with parents that grew up with similar parents as mine. They usually got their azz whipped when they misbehaved and now swore to not discipline their kids. Considering the levels of disrespect displayed by today's youth, maybe our parents knew best. It's not the sellers responsibility to watch your kids or have to worry about them getting into something they shouldn't.

As far as strippers go, bring as many as you can lmao!!!

i dont agree with shoe policy . if its a problem have shoe covers by your door. a new person in a new house to walk around on the same floor you do is kinda silly imo. i dont know what is on this floor or wat fungus u have under your feet let alone its a new house what happens when i stub my toe and break it . i aint paying for that doctor visit .. just order a pair of booty boots. they are washable and thick. leave by front door. i will never ask anyone to come in my home and take them shoes off if that were the case ill meet u at your car .

Hahahaha who knew going into someone's house was that dangerous.

im in and out of houses all day anywhere from 5-9 everyday for 8 years. ive seen alot of things and alot of guys i work with get injured feet from removing shoes. altho i agree wearing shoes in someones house is nasty bringing all the outside crap inside. floors inside may be just as bad. shoe covers are cheap and easy way to keep that crap off the floor. amazing whats on bottom of them shoe covers when u take them off both inside and outside. ethier way i also will say sorry to those who i have visited and not even asked to remove my shoes, im rude!! ill start bringing shoe covers everywhere i go from now on :)

I usually ask if shoes off or not some people care some dont . I dont but everybody thats come over has asked and thats the polite thing to do. I think u should ask if its ok to bring people specially kids. Again everyone is welcome to my zoo for me its a family hobby but not everyone feels the same and its the polite thing to do and just ask first. I alway bring my wife :) . Bags well i think thats sellers responsibility to let buyer know if they have to or not i have no problem bringing my own but i dont carry bags on me. Be on time us big to me i dont want sit around waiting for hours i dont care if u cancel chit happens but least send text or call. Oh and i love kids but if u do bring them make sure they behave they shouldnt be running around like crazed lunatics thats just bad parenting and not kids faults if they not told how to act. Common sense really just plays a roll in going any where not just someones house imo. Thats all i gotz to say like i said my house all is welcome family dogs just no cats im allergic. I never had any issues everyone thats came by was always polite and well behaved so no complaints on my end

I go into customer's homes for a living. Unless they insist on me taking off my shoes, I don't offer. I'm a groomer--the hair gets stuck to my socks!
