Let me know man. My last day of work is the 24th then I don't have to go back until Jan 6Your SPS are looking good man, I gotta check them out in person soon
Yeah just got a text back from adam also. He said the same thing. Not aefw just rtn. This is one of the RR from AP so not a big deal. I dipped them pretty hard and this one rolled around in the sand so I'm sure I pissed it off. I won't count it out yet. I've still got my frost pop that's been stn since march lolPossibly, but I don't really think so. AEFW bite marks don't typically take off all of the flesh like that. They just look more like lighter areas the are almost perfectly circular. I could be wrong though. I'd do some very close inspection. This piece looks like a goner, so you could do some dipping/ inspection in a small dish. What piece is that? Sorry to see this. After months of it just hanging on, I recently lost my BC Hellraiser. Sometimes they just don't make it.
This looks like STN to me, but it could be AEFW?

Yeah this one is really bad. My frost pop is about 1/4" now showed some polyps now a little more stn. But like I said until it's gone it can stayGood luck. I've never had one come back that was that far gone.

Yeah I got it out of the high flow and high light. Now just waiting to see what happensI bought a tricolor from AP and it did the same after about 4-5 days. I fragged a big chunk off, dipped it in Seachem Reef Dip and tossed it in a crevasse of a rock.
2 weeks later it is looking good.
Not sure if it was the drip, refragging, or getting it out of the strong flow but it worked!

Thanks for the info I have the reef octopus nwb 150 already so tuning should be similar. How is the noise though? If this thing is loud I'll be returning it. My 150 is really loud and that's why I wanted the skimzanarchy
Hows your water lvl in the sump? I find that 7inches works best for me. Will take some time to break in but you should build a recirc with pvc with a breather hole ontop where the return is.
Not sure if you know, but they say not to run the return under water lvl. I pretty much have mine dialed in right now with the knob getting really dark protein out.
Also i got an elbow fitting into the overflow drain over my sump. Just be carefull as once i tunned the knob and it was too wet overflowed out of the cabinet over night.
Anytime your going to asjust the valve do it on a day you can monitor the overflow as it takes time to take the adjustment.
Im sure you might have already known all this.
Happy holidays
My 150s air draw is super loud. I can barely hear it outside of the stand but when the door is open its annoyingHonestly i dont hear it....
Loud as in? A waterfall noise[from the return to sump] or like buzz from the pump bubble flow in the body?
The pump humm noise doesnt bother me much because its inside the cabinet cant even hear it. As for the water return. I actually have the oem grey pipe return with the hole drilled in so i dont hear the waterfall sound.
I apologize if i cant be much help with how noisy or quiet it can be. To me. Its in the sump and i took extra steps to make the cabinet as low exposure to the outside.
Not the skimz I wanted but I'll try it out
