Cornbred Frag Grow Out

Looking sweet Nino. I wouldnt mind trying one of the chalices in my tank, if you make a cut. The other chalice I got from you has been doing well and growing.

I want to cut them all in half and have someone else grow the other half. You probably heard what happened to the other grow out, where the chalices had a bad outcome. I don't want that to happen to ours, so I think it's a good fail-safe to have the chalices in 2 different tanks, now that they are big enough to cut in half. I just have to find someone with a wet-band saw to cut them.

after I move and make certain everything is stable I can take some too. I have been having great luck with a couple small chalice frags I have, but the move is obviously too risky. (I should bring you the rest of my stuff. . .)

I can easily do that, Nino, although I think that Jorge is more qualified...

Do you have a wet-band saw?

I did not hear about the other grow out. Was that through this site?

Let us know if you decide to cut!

I want to do it, I just need a wet-band saw. I think it's the best way to go about this growout.

I can set aside a frag rack for you, if you want to frag some of your favorite corals and I'll hold on to the frags, just incase something bad happens during your move. You can have your frags back once you make sure everything goes okay with the transfer.

That's brilliant Nino

Sorry guys. Been extra busy with work. Above are pics of the chalices. A couple already has 6 eyes I think. The others are slower growers.
The last 2 has some small spots that lost color. I thought it was because I just recently switched fro T5 to LEds, but my whites are only at 40% max so I dont think its just because of the LEDs. I think my tank is too clean. I went down to just 2 fishes and barebottom, so much less nutrients in my SPS tank. I have been spot feeding alot more and the 2 last chalices are slowly recovering, but I think they will benefit going to a more nutrient rich tank. Let me know if one of u would atleast split all the chalices, or take over keepin them ( they'll make your tank look really badass).

I occasionally here from everybody, except for "nlite5679"
Anyone know him personally and is he still around?
And nobody wants to take the mini colonies? I guess I just need to get another fish or two to make more fish poop for my tank. Its too clean for the chalices at the moment.

i just moved Nino but my tank is recovering nicely and I actually have a completely empty grow out system that would be ready for these guys as soon as I feel completely comfortable with the water parameters. If we give it another week or so I will definitely be ready to take one or more of the babies. I even have a pair of clowns and a yellow tail ready for poop delivery.

Id be ok with Herbie splitting the frags with you, nino, in hopes of a faster grow. Herbie is one of the most committed reefers i have had the pleasure meeting and his new build is incredible.
