Sawdonkey's 220 Thread

On Friday I did some serious tank cleaning and on Saturday I epoxied in a little bit of live rock to create a little bit more of an overhang on one of my rock piles. What do you know.....I made a little more room for some corals. So yesterday, I called up the guy with the best corals in all of Chicago and filled in the new space. With my limited space, I made sure I got some of the acros I've been eyeing forever, but never made it happen. They all need to color up after transporting, dipping, and gluing, but I'm confident of my abilities and I've seen these colored up elsewhere:

Reef Raft Limitless. This is the one piece that i REALLY wanted. This thing gets crazy colors!

Reef Raft Cactus. Like the Fox Flame, but purple instead of red:

RMF Psychoberry. This one really bleached out but it will come back. Flesh looks fine and polyps are out.

Reef Raft Unnamed. Gonna be yellow:

Looking good! Love the restraint with new purchases. Something I'm running into for the first time as this is a longer term tank and im definitely not enjoying it!!

Thanks Ted. I'm unwilling to change my scape, so the rockwork is really what's restraining me. I love shopping for coral, but unless i go with the rock wall look, my coral buying days are over. Now I just work on keeping things clean and keeping my water stable.

Doing something I should have done a LONG time ago. Installing GFI outlets and doing some wire management. My under tank area has been a mess for a long time.

My elecrical cleanup is complete so I took some photos tonight. I typically use tubes, but with the talk on the recent threads, I decided to use my magnifying lenses tonight. I also shot in manual an usually use appeture or shutter priority (a sort of semi-automatic setting).

This first pic shows a much better depth of field than i usually get by using the magnifying lenses instead of the tubes. Cppps Efflo:
