New LEDs will be up and running by the end of the day. I got the mounting rack built and now just need to mount it on the underside of my canopy. I won't be using the wires to mount it.

I'm really happy with the sleekness of these lights. The phone app to control them seems to work really well.

My 60" T5 retrofit should arrive tomorrow.

I was looking at those way before starting a system.
I went with their 1st gen seried black box with wifi control on the android app.

These new ones with easy replace led clusters being push n play and the use of 3 clusters in a lens also looks good.

Please update this later with what you think of them

Well, the replaceable LEDs are a bit over advertised since you can't even buy the chips. Reefbreeders doesn't have them. They told me you could solder the diodes onto the chips, but my soldering skills are about 1/8 as they would need to be for me to attempt that.

Being an over seas unit. Ive looked at asian forums to see if there's talk about them or tanks running them. Theyre methods are different and i still havent seen these on systems. Idk where they get theyre revenue from but i still wana see how they look on a system.

Im switching to T5 soon from 4 led boxes.

New LEDs are up and running. They look really slick but the new light will take some getting used to. They are a bit whiter/greener than I'd like even with the blues jacked up. I think think they just put too many white diodes in. It's nothing I won't get used to but I won't be able to run the white at a high percentage because it makes the colors ugly.

The light seems a little dimmer than my old ORs, but it seems more blended and it seems to penetrate deeper. The ends of my tank are a lot brighter, so I imagine I'll see some new growth and colors from of my long dormant pieces.

With the T5s, I should be able to get pretty close to me desired color.

Got my two-bulb T5 retrofit installed tonight. I'm loving the way it floods the tank with light, but I need to get bluer bulbs. The LEDs I have have quite a bit of white light, so it takes quite a bit of blue to overpower the white. I went with KZ New Generation Bulbs, but their too white. I just ordered two ATI Blue Plus. Not sure if I'll run two of the blues it if I'll run one of each.

Super happy with the new setup. Just need to dial it in.

Got the new ATI Blue Plus T5 bulbs in. The ones I bought originally were just too white. These, combined with the new LEDs are giving me a nice full light.

I can actually get a photo with my phone now. Looking forward to seeing the corals respond to the new light.

These are reefbreeders? Why didn't u just go with the v2?

They are sold by reefbreeders, but they are not reef breeders. These were on sale, so they were about the same price as the Photon IIs. They are more controllable and I like the way the diodes are spread out better. They still have cree (mostly) LEDs and they are also wifi controllable. I just realized how much I missed having lights that dim. It's really nice to have them fade to black as I wind down for the night.

I knew I wanted to mix in a couple of T5 bulbs and I'm really liking the "fullness" of the light.

I was pretty sure I was getting the V2s as well until I saw these. They're up and running along with the T5s, but I still have some adjusting to do.
