I've scrapped the T5/LED floating canopy for the 80 gallon. I'll be apartment living for at least 2-3 more years and think the floating canopy is more of a permanent residence install. So with that being said, I'm now looking to go either the T5 route with an ATI Dimmable Sunpower (w/reefbrites likely) or the Infite/Spectra. I've run DE and single ended and have had personal experience with the Phoenix 14k and Radium 20k. So, the decision here is if I want to go the DE route and save money on bulbs since Phoenix bulbs are about $25 cheaper than the Radiums.
I know both will work great, and I've always loved MH/T5, but I've never tried all T5 before so I'm always bit curious to give it a try.
Any suggestions?

I ran 14k Phoenix on a 75 gallon for almost 4 years and never had any complaints. I believe the Infiniti is a little less bulky as well since it's DE. But weren't there some recent concerns about Phoenix 14k not being available anymore

That is a good point I don't want to deal with heat isssues. I'll likely wait and see if one ever pops up used otherwise I'll probably go with the ATI. It'll come in at about half the cost after bulbs and ballasts.i thought its about DE Radium bulbs but i might be wrong ..
if my radions doesnt do the job of keeping my sticks yellow im gonna go with infinity ..
My reason for infinity over spectra is .. well Spectra is bigger reflector meaning more spread meaning have to hang closer to the tank meaning more heat in the tank .. infiniti has a smaller reflector and hence can be hung higher so not as much heat to the tank ..

Oh nice if I could find an 8 bulb powermodule that's probably what I'd go with. I don't know why they changed the housing design for the dimmable sunpower but the powermodule housing is so much nicer looking imo than the sunpowerIt's a ATI power module which they do not make any more

Mai, sorry for totally ignoring your post I don't know how I missed it. That thing looks amazing! I'd love to pickup one of those but they're just so expensive both initially and with recurring bulb costs, and unfortunately I don't see to many ever show up in the used equipment sections
