Spartanman's cube

Ya I used to have a 75 gallon sump on a previous tank and it was awesome I had so much room! I'm just not sure what type of side effects to expect from going from a fuge to no fuge. I kinda want to wait until my ATS gets a bit more established before I consider changing things around. The other issue is with the 40b sump I won't have much room left inside the stand. The 20L still leaves some room for the ATO container and dosing containers.

Haha I already have a 48" stand (the stand for the deep blue 80 gallon tank) for an 18" cube! my fiance would kill me if I tried upgrading in any fashion

Happy Friday everyone!

I really need to get q good camera to start getting decent pictures of my tank

I feel your pain. The wife is starting to think about getting into the hobby with my 27 cube... After the 93 goes in. And I mentioned extending my stand to 8' to make room for her tank and she flipped

ANARCHY

It's going to be a busy week in the tank! My new MP10, radium bulb, and RKM SL2 come in tomorrow. So I will be installing the MP10, switching our the old radium bulb and installing the rkm sl2 tomorrow. Then I can finally get my salinity probe installed. Then wednesday or thursday I have a fish shipment of various wrasses coming in which I can't wait for! I've got an insane amount of flatworms in my fishless frag tank.

Then this weekend I intend to disassemble my sump, redo the return plumbing and transfer all of the electrical outside of the stand into an electrical cabinet that was made between the wall and back of the stand. I'll then finish it all off by installing a large 2" lip boot tray inside my stand to contain any sump spills.

Snagged a rare pic of my lubbocks. Unfortunately my six line bully him to the point that it won't ever come out of his rock. I have to spot feed the poor guy. I have been attempting to catch the six line but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Ya that's probably what I am going to have to do. I have a couple more wrasses coming in this week so he needs to go! He should do a good job of keeping flat worms down in my frag tank.

Finally got the six line and damsel out of the cube. Only had to take all the rock out but it was well worth it. As soon as the tank clears up I'll snap picks of the new fish I picked up from Insane Corals. The only one mia still is the second black leopard. I didn't see him at all when I took the rock out but he was probably buried somewhere in the sand.

I love the yellows. I've found them great for pest control. I've had one in every sps tank I've ever had. The leopard is awesome he is always front and center now I just need to get him eating something. He's showing alot of interest in foods but no bites yet

Try feeding mysis. I have great success with these trans fish eating mysis. So far everyone all fish ive brought in with the exception of my naso has chowed down first day on mysis. Took around 4 weeks for a few to come around to pellets. after a week or two of mysis I start adding in pellet. Then I reduce mysis and increase pellets until they start eating them.

Thanks for the tip! I've gotten all of the fish I've gotten from you eating Mysis except the leopard. One of the leopards has not come out of the sand yet, but the other has an is very social! He's showing definite interest but has taken a bite yet. I'm going to try soaking in garlic. Even the tiny yellow wrasse is chowing down Mysis. Some of the pieces are as big as his head!

Well I officially hate my RKE. I'm on the final stages of my sump redo and myreef has stopped working. It has always barely functioned. God am I kicking myself for not having gone with an apex.
